Maintenance Engineer

The basics:
Pay: Starting at £55473 per annum and rising to £62877 (following assessment) + OT
Overtime: 1.5 Mon-Fri and double on Sundays
Shift: 6:30-6:30 42hr week
* Week 1: Mon & Tues (Days), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri,Sat & Sun (Nights)
* Week 2: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Days), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off)
* Week 3: Mon & Tues (Nights), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri, Sat & Sun (Days)
* Week 4: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Nights), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off) rotates back to Wk1.
Holidays: 20 days increasing every year up to 25 days

Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
* To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
* Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
* PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
* Time served apprenticeship
* Strong Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/ production environment or similar
* Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
Commutable from: Baglan, Swansea, Port Talbot and surrounding areas.
