Maintenance Engineer

We’re supporting a well-invested FMCG manufacturing site in Harlow that’s strengthening its engineering team due to continued demand. It’s a fast-moving environment with plenty of variety, modern kit and a team that values reliability and ownership.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for keeping high-volume production lines running safely and efficiently. The work combines reactive maintenance, planned maintenance and continuous improvement.

This role is days only- 4 on 4 off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical & mechanical fault-finding across production and packing machinery

• Carrying out PPMs and identifying improvement opportunities

• Supporting equipment upgrades, installations and commissioning

• Working closely with production teams to maximise uptime

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Requirements:

• Multi-skilled background with strong electrical competence

• Experience in FMCG / manufacturing / automated environments

• Confident diagnosing faults under pressure

• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working a 4 on 4 off pattern- DAYS only

• NVQ Level 3 / HNC / apprenticeship or equivalent
