The basics:

Pay: Up to £52,000 + Overtime available - earnings of £57000 and upwards achievable

Shift pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (6-6 - Days & Nights)

Industry: Manufacturing

Holidays: 23 shifts

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM's The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)Commutable from:

Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
