Salary: £37,418 + Pension + Overtime

Shift Pattern - 6-2pm, 2-10pm Monday to Friday

The Company

My client is a market leading privately owned producer of FMCG products with over 40 years manufacturing experience, supplying to all the major multiples, and employing over 500 people UK wide. They are looking to expand their strong maintenance team, with the addition of a mechanical setting engineer, based on an increase in the manufacturing output of the Preston plant.

* Familiar with Quick Change Over Techniques

The Role

The ideal candidate will come from a maintenance engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative and have experience in an engineering environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, utilising a PPM system. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.
