This role is for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for the overall maintenance, repair and improvement of production machinery within a high-volume environment in the Derbyshire region. The successful candidate will ensure high levels of operational effectiveness.

Description
· Perform regular inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
· Execute timely repairs on faulty machinery to minimise downtime.
· Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement production efficiency improvements.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
· Document maintenance procedures and machinery audits.
· Manage spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
· Provide training to the production staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
· Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
