As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of industrial equipment including rolling mills, saw lines, gas burners, separators and filtration systems, while contributing to ongoing projects and site upgrades aimed at enhancing performance and productivity.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be:
Joining the electrical team and working as part of the team with various engineers, a team leader and an apprentice On a daily basis you will be mechanically fault finding, working with components such as: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mills and more Reacting to mechanical breakdowns as well as working along a PPM schedule to pro actively keep the site manufacturing they’re product Supporting with Projects and Installation when required The potential to step up into a team leader role and get involved with the projects and continuous improvement to be able to grow the site and keep it advancing and progressing The Candidate
In a Maintenance Engineer I am looking for:
An engineer with an established engineering qualification Happy working as part of a team but when needed be able to work independently Confident fault finding electrically and working on three phase motors A quick learner who can adapt and get along with team members and potentially show the capability to step up to a Team Leader The Package
As a Maintenance Engineer you will receive:
An Annual salary of £50,000 Potential to earn easily £47,000 including bonuses and safety bonuses Days only shifts – Mon – Friday – flexi Opportunities to progress within the next 6-12 months ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
