The successful candidate will primarily bring strong electrical engineering expertise, supported by mechanical maintenance capability, to maintain production machinery and associated equipment. The role involves ensuring production lines operate efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing teams. This opportunity would suit an engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and has strong technical knowledge of moulding machinery. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair injection moulding machines and associated production equipment Provide electrical fault-finding and repair support across production machinery Support production teams to ensure machinery operates efficiently and meets performance targets Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability Diagnose equipment faults and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues Support engineering and manufacturing improvement projects to enhance machine performance and production efficiency Monitor machine performance, quality metrics, and production output Coordinate maintenance activities across moulding machines and ancillary equipment Equipment You May Work With Injection moulding machines Industrial robots Material feeding and blending systems Chillers and cooling systems Hot runner systems Production automation equipment Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have: Strong electrical engineering knowledge within a manufacturing environment Experience maintaining injection moulding machinery Mechanical maintenance experience supporting electrical fault finding Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills Qualifications Essential HNC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline What’s on Offer Salary of £45,000 – £50,000 plus overtime opportunities Day shift working pattern with early Friday finish Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment In Short Industry Engineering & Manufacture Founded 2016 Location Stockport, Cheadle Company size 0 - 49 Technical & Trades Recruitment Done Differently Provider of technical and trades recruitment, ODIN offers a
