This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest independent AD operators, supporting the safe, compliant, & efficient running of a key site. As the Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will: Support the site Manager Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) & reactive maintenance across mechanical & electrical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc) Manage maintenance & repairs to reduce operational disruptions Support safety, compliance, & engineering best practice across the site Work a shift pattern including weekends on a rota basis including call out & remote monitoring of the AD process Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering (or strong industry experience) to level 3 Proven background in a process industry (e.g. AD, energy, utilities, waste, manufacturing) Ability to train to WAMITAB & NEBOSH standard Experience with maintenance systems Familiarity with health & safety systems & environmental compliance is desirable Good people & teamworking skills Full UK driving licence & the ability to gain a telehandler licence The Offer: Competitive salary of up to £40,000 (depending on experience) Bonus scheme & overtime opportunities On call allowance (1 in 4 rota) 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays Pension & life assurance Opportunities for training & professional development To Apply: If you are interested in this role, please apply via the link below or contact Matt George at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489 533 030 / for a confidential chat.
