This Maintenance Engineer role is a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of moulding machines, automation equipment and ancillary systems, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in both reactive and planned maintenance, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation. Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer Provide shift breakdown cover on moulding machines automation equipment and ancillary equipment Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all relevant machinery and systems Diagnose and repair faults in an efficient and safe manner Support and implement improvements to manufacturing automation processes Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to achieve shared business goals Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency Promote and adhere to safe working practices at all times Comply with all company policies procedures and regulations Support training and development of colleagues alongside the Maintenance Supervisor Deliver improvement targets including OEE within area of responsibility Assist other engineers as required Qualifications & Requirements - Maintenance Engineer Time served engineer with an electrical bias ideally multi skilled Strong fault finding and problem solving skills Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment Injection moulding experience would be advantageous Self motivated with a proactive approach to improving equipment performance Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What we can offer - Maintenance Engineer Competitive salary Opportunity to work within a skilled and supportive engineering team Ongoing training and development opportunities Involvement in continuous improvement and automation projects Stable permanent position within an established business Call for action: For more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on 01453 852544 or send a copy of your CV to For details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors.
