This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop within a modern, forward-thinking operation that is heavily invested in automation and continuous improvement. This role offers clear progression routes, ongoing training, and the chance to work on advanced automated systems within a supportive on-site team. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance , ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency across automated warehouse equipment and systems. Sector – FMCG (Automated) Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Site Engineer Mechanically biased maintenance experience Experience working within a manufacturing or automated environment Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced environment Requirements for the Site Engineer Strong hands-on mechanical fault-finding skills (bearings, belts, chains, rollers, pneumatics, etc.) Basic electrical fault-finding capability (motors, sensors, relays, contactors) Experience working with automated or materials handling equipment (desirable) Ability to work both independently and within a team Desirable Requirements Experience within automated warehouse, FMCG, or distribution environments Previous experience working on cranes or high-level automated systems Experience using CMMS or maintenance management systems The Site Engineer will benefit from: Working in a state-of-the-art automated site Competitive salary with overtime opportunities Ongoing training and development Clear career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
