This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tamworth, operating within a high-volume production environment. The business continues to invest in its machinery and processes, making this a stable and forward-thinking site.
The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment, carrying out a mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdown work. You will be working across a range of machinery, supporting production by minimising downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
The position will involve a balance of PPM and reactive maintenance (approx. 40% / 60%), alongside occasional involvement in equipment refurbishment, machinery moves and reinstallations across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Engineering Qualification (minimum UK Level 2 or equivalent) Must have experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment Commutable to Tamworth
Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Experience working on production machinery within a fast-paced environment Strong fault finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience working within a continuous improvement environment
Desirable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Mechanical:
Strong pneumatics (majority of the work) Hydraulics, gearboxes, pumps, belts, bearings, chains Welding, fabrication or machining experience (advantageous) Electrical:
3-phase systems AC/DC motors Inverters / drives Sensors and relays
