The Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on modern production equipment
Working on three-phase motors and electrical control systems (sensors, relays, contactors, inverters, etc.)
Fault-finding using electrical schematics and test equipment (e.g. multimeters)
Mechanical maintenance including conveyors, bearings, rollers, and gearboxes
Maintaining and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Supporting occasional strip-down and rebuild projects
Using a CMMS system (tablet-based) for PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
The Person
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A recognised engineering qualification (ideally electrical)
Proven maintenance experience in an industrial environment (e.g. FMCG, manufacturing, food & beverage, packaging, utilities)
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with a focus on root cause analysis
PLC experience (advantageous but not essential)
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
