(We cannot sponsor or support VISA applicants). About the Role : We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an automated warehouse based in Northampton. You will be response for the day-to-day maintenance of the fast flowing material handling equipment as well as: · Delivery of key service elements such as planned preventative maintenance, fault rectification and fault eradication · Ensure all aspects of their working day are logged as per the agreed method · Fully interact with the customer in day-to-day activities · Identify and resolve issues with the materials handling equipment, including identification of root causes, working proactively with the customer operations team · Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and submit proposals · Effectively communicate throughout the SSI team and with the customer Requirements : · ONC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or PLC Engineering · Recognised cross training from Mechanical to Electrical Engineering of vice versa · PLC knowledge and experience is advantageous. · Health and Safety Qualifications desirable · Experience of automated materials handling equipment · Ability to work at height. · Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills desirable. · Good team working skills.
