About the Role Being the Maintenance Engineer, you will become part of a supportive engineering team where training, development and career progression are genuinely encouraged. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of a wide range of production equipment, including Fillers, Mixers, Capping Machines, Cooling Tunnels, Robotics, Wrapping Machines, Labelling Machines, Checkweighers, Conveyors etc. Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults Working on 3-phase systems, motors, sensors and control equipment as well as bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, belts, chains, drives etc Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects Contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the site The Candidate We're looking for Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working within a collaborative maintenance environment and is keen to develop their skills. Essential Requirements: Engineering qualification at Level 3 or above (Electrical or Multi-Skilled) Previous maintenance engineering experience within an FMCG Manufacturing, Production or Industrial environment Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with a focus on root cause analysis PLC experience (advantageous but not essential) Proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team and as part of a team ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
