Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Facilities Engineer to support a prestigious portfolio of commercial, corporate, retail and hospitality clients across London and the South East.

Working within one of the UK's most demanding facilities management environments, the successful candidate will provide a responsive and professional maintenance service, ensuring client facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational. The role requires an engineer who can confidently engage with customers, take ownership of issues and deliver first-time fixes wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver planned and reactive facilities maintenance services throughout London and the South East.

* Carry out building fabric repairs, alterations and installations.

* Undertake minor electrical and plumbing works.

* Diagnose faults and implement practical repair solutions.

* Complete decorating, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.

* Support compliance inspections and statutory maintenance activities.

* Carry out site surveys and produce condition reports.

* Assist with client projects, fit-outs and refurbishment works.

* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety legislation.

* Maintain excellent client communication and service standards.

Essential Experience

* Multi-skilled facilities maintenance experience.

* Building fabric maintenance expertise.

* Customer-facing maintenance experience.

* Practical knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

* Experience working within commercial environments.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

* Retail, hospitality or corporate office experience.

* 18th Edition Qualification.

* IPAF, PASMA and CSCS.

* Multi-trade background.

* Experience of CAFM systems and mobile working technology
