Maintenance Engineer – Telford

£50,000 - £55,000 + Overtime + Additional Earning Opportunities

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Telford.

This is a hands-on engineering role working as part of a strong team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

The business offers a stable working environment, with regular overtime opportunities and further ways to increase your earnings throughout the year.

The role

You’ll be responsible for keeping the site's machinery and equipment running efficiently, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.

You’ll work closely with the rest of the engineering team and production to keep downtime to a minimum.

The role will suit someone who enjoys a varied maintenance position and is comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

What you'll bring

* Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment

* Good mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills

* Experience with planned and reactive maintenance

* Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability

* A practical, hands-on approach

* Someone who works well as part of a team

* Flexibility around the shift pattern is essential
