Job Overview: • Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance on plant, equipment, buildings and services. • Maintain records in line with site policies and HSE standards. • Develop, implement and document planned preventive maintenance schedules. • Teach, coach and mentor apprentices. You may also be asked to undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role. Qualifications, skills and experience: • A time-served engineering apprenticeship or recognized equivalent qualifications. • Multi-skilled engineering experience, preferably with an electrical bias, and experience gained in a high-speed, continuous-process industrial environment. • Knowledge and experience of operating a planned preventive maintenance programme. • Good PC skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. • Communicate clearly, work confidently with numerical information and maintain accurate written records. • Experience of lean manufacturing systems and their implementation. • Take a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and work constructively with colleagues. • Ability to build good working relationships. What We Are Looking For: Qualifications: Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent recognized qualifications. Experience: • Multi-skilled with an electrical bias preferred. • Experience in high-speed, continuous industrial environments. • Experience with PPM systems. • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure vessels, and dust extraction systems is beneficial. • Experience in woodworking environments is advantageous. Skills: • Good computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook). • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. • Experience with lean manufacturing systems.
