Job Purpose

Looking for a capable individual to maintain the operation of production on both mechanical and electrical systems and maximise the reliability, efficiency and safety of the plant and machinery.

Key Accountabilities
Cover the factory on Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Root cause Analysis and ongoing reliability of all processing and packing plant.
To attend and diagnose breakdown repairs in a cost-effective timely manner
To record all work details using CMMS
Involvement in loss reduction and efficiency improvement activities with production operators.
To ensure that all delegated mechanical and electrical work is performed with full regard to product safety and quality and employee health and safety

Experience and Skills:
Fault-finding skills
Understanding of problem-solving techniques
Experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG/Food)
Working knowledge of AC/DC motors and controls
Understanding of hydraulics, and pneumatics
