Are you a Maintenance Engineer with Electrical or Mechanical Skills? Do you have experience from heavy industrial backgrounds, FMCG, Water or Utilities, Ex Forces or similar looking for a maintenance role?

On offer is a permanent Maintenance Engineer role with a multibillion turnover FMCG manufacturing plant with a company offering excellent benefits, job security and career progression to senior positions & management roles with numerous examples across the business.

The position will include planned and reactive maintenance plus fault diagnosis in a fast paced environment, you will work as part of a team and work on a range of high spec automated machinery for consumer goods.

We are looking to receive applications from both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineers which are happy to work 4on 4off shift pattern and live in a commutable location to Preston.

The Role

• Full time permanent, shift based position with a large multibillion turnover FMCG Manufacturer.
• Fault diagnosis, planned and reactive maintenance on Mechanical & automated machinery.
• Input into continuous improvement of the plant

The Person

• Qualification (NVQ 3 / C&G level 3 ) or Apprentice trained Mechanical / Electrical Engineer
• Working experience in a maintenance engineer position, including fault diagnosis
• Any experience with PLC's beneficial
• Willing to work shifts/nights (2days -2nighs 4 off) with a UK driving licence.
