Maintenance Engineer

ECHO PERSONNEL are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a reputable company in Corby. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and leadership skills to oversee maintenance operations efficiently.
THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE !
Duties:

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment - Weld, fabricate, and repair metal components - Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues - Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff - Communicate effectively in English with team members and management - Perform electrical repairs and installations as needed - Assist in customer service-related maintenance requests - Interpret schematics and logic controllers for equipment troubleshooting - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Experience:

- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial setting - Strong mechanical and electrical skills - Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively - Proficiency in interpreting schematics and logic controllers - Excellent customer service skills to address maintenance needs promptly
Please Note - Training will be held over 3 months, this will be a basic salary of £40,000. Training will be held on days, hours 0830-1700.
After training is complete, your working hours will be 1200-20:00 or 1400-2200 Fridays 10:00-1800.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £44,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
