We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer (Days) for our Engineering & Manufacturing client within the FMCG industry. The role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Description

As the Maintenance Engineer (Days) you'll be tasked with the following;

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of machinery within the FMCG environment.
• Identifying and rectifying any potential issues or faults within the machinery.
• Ensuring all equipment complies with health and safety regulations.
• Conducting regular maintenance checks and implementing proactive measures.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
• Managing resources and inventory related to the machinery.
• Providing technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer (Days) should have:

• A HNC/HND/ONC/NVQ in Engineering field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the fast paced environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Offer

• An attractive salary package around £39,000 GBP
• Working hours from 07:30 to 15:30.
