Maintenance Engineer - Days only

Job role: Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias)
Salary: £38,000-£42,000
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Hours: 7.30-17.00 Mon to Thurs, 12.00 finish Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Company:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading firm based in Wellingborough on their search for an experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their team. Our client has been established for over 60 years and are now looking for an engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias to join the team. The Benefits:
· Salary between £38,000-£42,000 dependent on experience

The Role:
· Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on packaging and manufacturing machinery.
· Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of manufacturing machinery.
· Minimise machine downtime by servicing and maintaining machinery effectively and efficiently.
· Suggest plans and ideas to improve machine and process capability, using continuous improvement methodologies where required.
· Offer assistance and training to lesser skilled staff to aid with preventative maintenance.
· Complete and maintain neat documentation and service record to ensure all date is correct.
· Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies.

The Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years worth of experience as an engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)
· Multi-skilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential)
· Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities in a manufacturing environment (essential)
· Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs/17th/18th edition) - advantageous
· In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
· Full UK Drivers Licence
