Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Lancashire - Salary £45,000 - 50,000+

About the Company

Our client is an established independent waste & recycling business that is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team for the night shift. The business operates a number of sites across the North West and is part of a conglomerate of independent businesses. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment used in waste processing and recycling facilities including maintenance, installations, upgrades and breakdowns.

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Requirements

• NVQ /City & Guilds
• Must be familiar with the industrial environment
• Heavy plant/heavy process equipment experience
• Welding experience

Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - Responsibilities

• Maximising plant uptime and minimising plant downtime
• Communicating at all levels of engineering and production departments the status of plants and ongoing projects
• Investigating, reporting, and resolving repetitive engineering faults
• Maintaining the maintenance system logs, follow up actions, fault, and diagnosis
