Maintenance Engineer - Nights

A Nottingham based food manufacturing company are seeking an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working on perm NIGHTS for their modern production facility based in South Nottingham.

As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.

Role:

• Multi skilled, will consider elec or mech biased engineers
• 3on / 3off – Nights only (12 hour shifts) (6-6)
• Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer

• Salary of c£54,500

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:

• Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
• Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
• Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
• Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
• Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements

Experience and skills required:

• Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
• Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
• Apprenticeship trained
• Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
• Manufacturing / production experience required
