Job Title: Nights Multi Skilled Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Nights Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established engineering team supporting the maintenance and reliability of high speed FMCG production equipment on a permanent night shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities - Nights Multi Skilled Engineer

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on FMCG production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Ensure machinery and plant operate safely and efficiently at all times
• Maintain compliance with food safety and health and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with Production Operations and Quality teams
• Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
• Support continuous improvement projects across the site
• Contribute to maximising plant reliability and production performance
• Ensure all engineering activities are completed in line with company procedures

Qualifications & Requirements - Nights Multi Skilled Engineer

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• Apprentice trained engineer preferred
• Previous experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment
• Minimum Level 2 Food Safety qualification
• Strong fault finding and problem solving abilities
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
• Reliable motivated and team focused approach
• Minimum 3 years experience in a Multi Skilled Engineering role
