Maintenance Manager

Job Title: Maintenance Manager (Mechanical)
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £60,000 - £64,000 (Days Only)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of mechanical systems in our West Bromwich facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.

• Lead mechanical project engineering efforts, driving improvements and overseeing the execution of projects within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Implement and manage Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and optimize maintenance schedules, work orders, and resource allocation.

• Foster a culture of safety, ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and that the team adheres to all legal and company procedures.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including production and engineering, to resolve issues, improve processes, and support operational goals.

• Liaise with external suppliers, contractors, and agencies such as the HSE and insurance inspectors to maintain equipment standards and meet regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with CMMS and other maintenance management tools.

• Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• In-depth knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Mecahnical qualifications
