Maintenance Manager

I am recruiting a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and manager a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers in a 24/7 food manufacturing facility in Wakefield.

Description

The Maintenance Manager will report into the site Engineering Manager and will:

• Effectively manage the production maintenance through a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency
• Work closely with production management to minimize downtime
• Provide technical support and training to the engineering team

Profile

The successful Maintenance Manager will possess a range of the following:

• Minimum HNC qualification
• Electrical bias with 18th edition qualification
• Significant experience in a team leader or maintenance management role within the FMCG sector
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• The ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software
