Maintenance Manager

DCT Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance the maintenance operations within our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, mechanical knowledge, and project management skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment, focusing on preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot various systems, including electrical components, logic controllers, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions.
• Lead projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, including upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the maintenance department.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proficiency in managing teams and supervising staff effectively.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and logic controllers is essential.
• Excellent project management skills with a focus on achieving results within deadlines.
• Strong leadership abilities, capable of motivating a diverse team.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are required.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
