Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for a world famous college in Cambridge. As Maintenance Manager you will lead the critical services on general maintenance , space management and decorating across the college. You will be providing essential support to the daily operation of the college. You will report to the Director of Works and work closely with the Hard Service Manager.

As the Maintenance Manager , you will:

• General maintenance, portage, space management and decorating
• Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring high performance and safety
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools and parts
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
• Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs and system performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce costs

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager who has:

• Proven experience in maintenance management or supervisory roles
• Proven experience in leading teams
• Directing operations and managing modest budgets.
• You must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Working proactively and independently
• Excellent IT skills, using Excel, Word, Adobe, and CAFM programmes software will be essential.
