Maintain high standards of engineering practice, health and safety, and equipment compliance. Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Ensure appropriate maintenance procedures, routines, and records are in place. Key Skills & Experience

Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background, with a preference for mechanically biased candidates. Experience managing a team of engineers, fitters, or maintenance technicians. Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, maintenance planning, and scheduling. Experience maintaining heavy industrial machinery or continuous process equipment. Shredder experience within scrap metal recycling or waste processing would be highly advantageous. Ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues and understand equipment failure in detail.
