A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a renowned independent education provider. The institution features versatile event spaces, from large halls to small meeting rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain facilities, manage contractors, and oversee large projects.
• Lead in building management, operations, and health and safety.
• Provide input and manage refurbishment and maintenance projects.
• Act as the first point of contact for maintenance issues.
• Develop supplier relationships and ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Implement cost-saving measures and environmental initiatives.
• Coordinate support contracts and maintain compliance records.

Building Management:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and conduct inspections.

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise water hygiene and record management.

Qualifications:

• Practical repair skills, trade experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of building systems and regulations.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities software.
• Facilities management certification is desirable.
