Maintenance Manager - Electrical

Are you an experienced electrical professional ready to lead a high-performing maintenance team?
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Electrical Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive compliance, and support continuous improvement across a busy maintenance function.

As the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will take ownership of scheduling, quoting, certification oversight, and team leadership. Working in close collaboration with the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (QS), you’ll ensure all electrical activities meet regulatory standards and deliver excellent service across multiple sites.

• Quoting & Estimating
  Generate accurate quotes for reactive maintenance based on site visits and technical requirements.

• Regulatory Compliance
  Ensure all works adhere to current legislation and safety standards in collaboration with the NICEIC QS.

• Scheduling & Resource Allocation
  Coordinate maintenance engineers efficiently, ensuring optimal coverage and timely completion of works.

• Quality Control & Reporting
  Monitor workmanship through audits, uphold health and safety compliance, and generate reports for management.

• Client Communication
  Serve as the key point of contact for clients, providing updates, resolving issues, and building strong working relationships.

• Team Leadership
  Mentor and manage a team of engineers, supporting their professional development and maintaining high performance.

• Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation

  • Proven experience managing electrical maintenance operations

  • Familiarity with NICEIC requirements and certification processes

• Technical Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, codes of practice, and safety regulations

  • Experience using maintenance management systems

• Leadership Skills

  • Strong communicator and problem-solver
