Maintenance Manager (M&E / Compliance)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to support a public sector organisation in Milton Keynes. This is a full -time temporary role covering sickness, with the potential to extend.

Working pattern:

• First 3 months fully office -based
  
• Potential for 1 day per week working from home thereafter (based on performance)
  
• Approx. 80% office / 20% site -based work
  

Key responsibilities:

• Managing statutory compliance contracts across multiple sites
  
• Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities
  
• Ensuring all works meet compliance and safety standards
  
• Conducting site visits and quality checks
  
• Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders
  
• Monitoring performance and driving service improvements
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar role
  
• Strong knowledge of M&E services
  
• Experience managing statutory compliance contracts
  
• Ability to manage contractors and site -based activities
  
• Good organisational and communication skills
  
• Standard DBS required
