Are you an experienced Mechanical Gas professional ready to lead and make an impact? We’re seeking a Mechanical Gas Manager to oversee and grow the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) division within our thriving facilities management company, which specialises in servicing the hospitality sector.

Location: Tilbury - Primarily Office-Based with Occasional Site Travel

Full-Time - Monday - Friday

Salary: - £55k - £60K Based on Experience + Benefits

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you'll take charge of our mechanical operations, focusing on boiler installations, gas compliance, plumbing works, and technical surveys. While you'll be based mainly in our office, you’ll also attend site visits when required to support project delivery and client relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who can combine technical expertise with strategic oversight, helping us elevate our M&E service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all mechanical and gas-related operations across hospitality sites

Oversee boiler installs, servicing, and compliance

Conduct detailed site surveys and provide accurate reporting

Supervise engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high standards and efficiency

Oversee planned and reactive maintenance

Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards

Liaise with clients to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions

Develop and expand the M&E division in line with business growth

What We’re Looking For:

• Gas Safe registered with extensive experience in boiler installations and servicing
• Strong plumbing and mechanical background
• Experience managing or supervising M&E projects and teams
• Confident conducting technical surveys and preparing project scopes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Previous experience in the hospitality or commercial sector is highly desirable
• Organised, proactive, and capable of driving improvements
