Maintenance operative
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £29,000 basic + benefits package
Full-time | Permanent

Due to exponential growth, there is now an opportunity and a requirement for a maintenance operative to join a very well-known property management company based in Chesterfield.

You will work alongside other members of the team to include all aspects of maintenance and refurbishment projects of occupied and tenanted properties within the property portfolio. You are responsible for installations, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service private roadway streetlights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

Essential Skills:

• Residential and commercial maintenance
• Certificates up to date
• Full Clean UK driving license
• Be able to complete minor works certificates.

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
• Practical and can-do approach and professional when communicating
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask
• Good work ethic with an energetic approach with flexibility and commitment
