📍 Location: South Downs Care, Petersfield
💰 Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience (reviewed annually) 
🎉 Bonus: Discretionary Annual Bonus based on company success

🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm)

🚗 Driver: A driver with a full UK Drivers Licence

The Opportunity

Join our team as a Maintenance Operative, supporting care homes in Downs and Stroud with essential upkeep and safety. This hands-on role involves managing day-to-day maintenance tasks, carrying out minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, including fire safety and equipment checks. You'll work closely with home managers, subcontractors, and our head office estates team to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative who aligns with our core values and brings at least 3 years of experience in general maintenance or a trade qualification. You’ll need a full UK driving licence to travel between sites, be comfortable using a computer or iPad for record-keeping, and have a solid understanding of health and safety practices. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage tasks across multiple locations are essential.
