Maintenance Operative

Our client is looking to appoint a reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out repairs and maintenance on modular buildings across London.

This varied, hands-on role would suit someone with general building maintenance experience who takes pride in their work and can deal confidently with day-to-day repairs. Skills in joinery, roofing and plumbing would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
Complete general repairs to keep modular buildings safe, functional and well presented.
Undertake joinery, roofing and plumbing repairs within your skills and experience.
Identify maintenance issues and report any work requiring specialist attention.
Work safely and keep tools, materials and work areas organised.
Communicate professionally with customers, site teams and colleagues.
What we’re looking for

Previous experience in building maintenance or a similar trade role.
A practical approach to fault-finding and problem-solving.
The ability to work independently and manage competing tasks.
Good communication skills and a reliable, professional attitude.
Willingness to travel between sites across London.
Joinery, roofing or plumbing experience would be an advantage.
Experience working on modular or portable buildings would be beneficial.
