Job Description - Maintenance Person

Maintenance Person- Electrical Bias
Monday - Friday with flexible daytime hours - 42.5 hours per week
£34,000 Per Year

Responsibilities:

Execute general maintenance tasks, including the repair and upkeep of equipment, machinery, fire exits, and smoke alarms.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the optimal functioning of electrical systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Perform routine inspections to proactively identify potential maintenance needs.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines and budgets.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace faulty components.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience/Requirements:

Preferred experience in general and/or electrical maintenance.
Must possess an electrical qualification with familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
Essential knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and basic plumbing.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and instruction manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
Customer service-oriented mindset with professionalism in interactions with staff and clients.
