As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing maintenance activities across a busy operational site. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and Stores teams, you'll ensure maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled and resourced to maximise equipment reliability, improve compliance and reduce downtime.

Description
Manage and maintain the preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities, shutdowns and corrective works.
Utilise the CMMS system to create, monitor and close work orders.
Coordinate labour, materials, contractors and spare parts to support maintenance activities.
Track statutory inspections and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
Produce maintenance KPI reports, downtime analysis and compliance data.
Support engineering reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Maintain accurate, audit-ready maintenance documentation and records.
Work closely with site teams to improve planning effectiveness and schedule adherence.
Help drive a proactive maintenance culture focused on safety and operational excellence.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Planner should have:
Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Coordinator or Engineering Planner position. Experience working within manufacturing, recycling, waste, production or industrial environments. Strong CMMS knowledge and experience managing maintenance schedules. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively. Good understanding of maintenance processes and engineering operations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting tools. Experience producing KPI reports and analysing maintenance data would be advantageous.
