Maintenance Plumber

Our client, one of the largest privately owned building service providers in London, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join their team at a flagship commercial property in Canary Wharf. This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and valuable experience. You will be responsible for all relevant commercial plumbing and water treatment duties on a fixed Monday to Friday schedule 8-5

To succeed in this role, you must be fully qualified in Plumbing and Heating (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent), have at least 3 years of experience in similar roles, possess a client-facing attitude, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Plumbing tasks including taps, valves, toilets, pipes, and leaks
• Water treatment duties such as Legionella awareness, chemical dosing, TMVs, dead leg removal, flushing, cooling towers, and tap temperature monitoring
• Maintenance of MHVR and Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• Heat Interface Unit (HIU) maintenance
• Boiler maintenance
• General maintenance duties as required

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in building services maintenance within a commercial environment
• Strong client-facing skills with a professional attitude
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary & Benefits:

• £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (static site)
