Maintenance Supervisor

Job Title: Supervisor
Location: Woking
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Benefits: 23 days holiday, pension, life assurance

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to oversee day-to-day repairs and void property works within a busy maintenance team. You will lead a team of operatives, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety and efficiency while delivering repairs and planned works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operatives and monitor performance

• Scope, survey and price works using schedules of rates

• Oversee health and safety and deliver toolbox talks

• Ensure vehicles, stock and equipment are maintained

• Handle performance reviews, absence management and investigations

• Support reactive maintenance and planned works across contracts

• Maintain strong customer and tenant relationships

Requirements:

• NVQ or equivalent in a trade discipline

• Full UK driving licence - please inform us of any points if so

• Strong technical knowledge across building maintenance and construction

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance, with 2 years in a supervisory role

• Good IT skills and job management system knowledge

• SSSTS and scaffold inspection certificates desirable

This is a hands-on, varied role requiring excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills. Flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential.
