Maintenance Supervisor

A Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader position has become available within a business that supplies safety-critical technologies to various sectors and is currently experiencing a period of significant growth.

This is a manufacturing facility where everyone's opinions count, and management is committed to promoting from within. The salary for this position is £50,000 and is ideal for anybody with an industrial manufacturing background who wants to remain hands on and working closely with the team.

Maintenance Team Leader key responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and ongoing servicing of machinery on-site
• Diagnose and resolve faults as needed
• Create and delegate PPM schedules
• Liaise with Contractors
• Keep manufacturing management regularly informed on progress
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance
• React promptly to any machine breakdowns, solving problems efficiently
• Monitor and maintain maintenance tools, stores, and equipment

Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:

• Proven experience within a manufacturing environment
• Flexibility with working hours and shift work
• Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent)
