Maintenance Team Leader

Maintenance Team Leader, £43 - 45K, East Midlands Gateway. Working rotating 12 hour days and nights. Benefits to include, pension scheme, life insurance, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus stats.

The Company:

An international integrated systems and solutions provider, working in the distribution / automated warehouse industry. They design, develop and implement automated materials handling solutions and provide full on-site customer support.

The Role – Maintenance Team Leader

·Manage and lead a team of a multi-disciplined engineering team.

·This is a hands-on management role, you will be involved with the maintenance and repair of automated cranes, conveyors, robots and all associated equipment.

·Working in a customer facing environment, dealing promptly with customers enquiries, complaints or problems.

·Achieving KPI targets at all times.

·You will be involved with continuous improvements of the site.

·Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.

The Person – Maintenance Team Leader

·You must have a background of working in an automated distribution centre/warehouse or in a FMCG environment. With a knowledge of automated systems this could include cranes, automatic conveyors and systems.

·You must have strong leadership capabilities, with proven experience of leading a team.

·Experience of staff appraisals and training.

·Able to deal with 3rd party contractors and permits to work.

·An apprentice trained or equivalent Engineering Qualification is essential.

·Working at height and rescue is essential.

·Further education in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering is desirable.

·Level 3 Management qualification is desirable.
