This position will be responsible for contributing to the maintenance activity in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Production department on a day-to-day basis on maintenance issues ensuring all Plant and equipment is kept to the highest possible standard.
Work within the Maintenance team to establish and implement a Preventive Maintenance Program for all Plant and equipment to include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
Prioritise the work involved to give the best return based on company targets.
Assist in the completion of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports in conjunction with the Supervisor, Management and other relevant personnel in a timely manner.
Promoting a teamwork culture within the facility.
Ensure all relevant documentation is filled out as per company procedures.
Maintain and promote high standards in health and safety and housekeeping.
Identify Hazards and Risk, report and mitigate aligned with Company procedures.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
A formal qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Be computer literate with a working knowledge and a reasonable level of Computer Skills.
Be able to demonstrate hands on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical aptitude.
Knowledge of electronics and PLC programming would be a distinct advantage.
Demonstrate proven problem-solving skills.
Have an excellent time and attendance record.
