Location: Diss, Norfolk. Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits Hours: 39 hours per week, fully on-site. Holiday: 23 Days + Bank Holidays A well established engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of its production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and proactive engineer who enjoys a varied role involving equipment maintenance, site improvements, fault diagnosis and facilities support. You'll play a key role in ensuring operational reliability while helping maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned maintenance activities across production equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime. Support building maintenance and site improvement projects. Conduct routine safety inspections and address identified issues. Coordinate with external contractors when required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Respond to equipment breakdowns and facility related issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Candidate Requirements:
Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment. Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Practical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability. Desirable:
