Key Responsibilities

Complete planned maintenance inspections to a high standard
Plan and deliver corrective and reactive work to minimise downtime
Maintain and improve plant and equipment for maximum availability and performance
Conduct dynamic risk assessments to uphold safe working practices
Maintain shift paperwork, condition reports, and stock control records
Assess malfunctioning equipment and advise site management on next steps
Support engineering projects, new installations, and refurbishments
Update and administer the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Contribute to problem-solving workshops to identify root causes and improvements
Attend daily review meetings, reporting on maintenance compliance and live defects

Requirements

Completed apprenticeship (NVQ Level 2 or 3) in a relevant engineering discipline
HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
Experience in a process, production, or manufacturing environment
Understanding of CMMS systems, their purpose and functionality
Knowledge of electrical systems and safety
Strong diagnostic skills and logical, methodical thinking
Good communication skills within a production team
