Salary: £44,000 to £49,500 – DAYS - & £52,000 to £58,500 - NIGHTS

2 Roles – Day Shift & Night Shift

Days – Weekends – Fri-Sat-Sun – 12 hour shifts – 6am-6pm

Nights – Weekends – Fri-Sat-Sun – 12 hour shifts – 6pm-6am

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s instantly recognisable manufacturers, who is a leading European listed company specialising in the manufacture and converting of Polyurethane foams. With over one hundred manufacturing establishments in twenty countries, they employ over 11,000 people worldwide. With almost 500 employees, over 6 sites UK wide, markets include automotive, furniture, bedding, medical, nursery, and retail, they are once again looking to expand their engineering function, with the addition of 2 engineers, 1 working a day shift, and 1 working a night shift.

The Roles – 1 DAYS – 1 NIGHTS

The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies, on this lower tier COMAH site. The jobholder will be a time served engineer with a mechanical bias and have experience working on PPM systems. You will also work on filter pumps and general mechanical equipment including gearboxes, conveyors, chain drives, fans, motors, wrappers and ovens, together with other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
