Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Monday-Friday, On Site

A prestigious residential development in Haringey is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join their on site team. This hands-on position involves ensuring the property maintains its exceptional standards through both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site.

This role offers exceptional variety, allowing you to utilise and develop skills across multiple trade disciplines. You'll collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to maintaining premium residential spaces while having the freedom to manage your own workload. • Perform general maintenance including repairs, painting, decorating, basic plumbing, electrical work and carpentry
• Conduct and document regular safety checks including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting and smoke ventilation systems
• Collaborate with third-party contractors, reviewing risk assessments and issuing work permits
• Assist with communal area upkeep including bin management, refuse chute cleaning and pressure washing
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper usage and secure storage
• Complete minor internal and external repairs to communal areas and building infrastructure
• Accurately record maintenance tasks and risk assessments using internal systems

• Proficiency in common maintenance disciplines (plumbing, electrical, carpentry and decorative work)
• Solid knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience with risk assessments
• Familiarity with building systems and maintenance protocols
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision
• Writes and speaks with ease to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues
• Confidence using basic IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Proactive approach with dedication to quality and efficiency

• Actual salary range of £30,000-£31,000 per annum
