About the Role

• You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a stimulating and engaging Design Technology curriculum across all Key Stages.


• You will have a strong understanding of current Design Technology pedagogy and a passion for practical learning.


• You will be able to effectively differentiate lessons to cater for the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.


• You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment within the Design Technology department.


• You will be expected to contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Design Technology.


• A strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring the next generation of designers and makers.


• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.


• The ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.


• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
