About the Role:

• Delivering engaging and stimulating English lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11) in line with the National Curriculum.


• Creating a vibrant and well-resourced learning environment that promotes critical thinking, effective communication skills, and a passion for exploring the rich tapestry of English language and literature.


• Contributing to the ongoing development of the English curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision and the latest advancements in English pedagogy.


• Building strong relationships with students, fostering their confidence and encouraging a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis.


• Participating in departmental and whole-school events, contributing to the wider school community.
